PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

SUSTAINABILITY
I advise on sustainability for projects and operations, embedding principles into assets and buildings. My work spans carbon roadmaps, energy audits, sustainability strategies, ESG due diligence, and green certifications, integrating objectives into daily operations. I developed services and strategy, drove business development, trained teams in Switzerland/Northern Europe, and supported regional leadership. Delivered solutions across consulting, industry, and non-profits.

INFRASTRUCTURES
Before focusing fully on sustainability, I spent many years managing complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects worldwide in infrastructure and energy. From large-scale power generation to waste-to-energy facilities, I coordinated civil design with multi-disciplinary teams, led tenders worth tens of millions of euros, and optimized technical/commercial strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs, building a systems-level view from design to operation.

REAL ESTATE
My experience also spans real estate advisory and facility management, bridging strategic consulting and operations. I've developed and delivered sustainability services, such as energy/carbon reduction projects, and helped asset/portfolio owners align investments with ESG outcomes. Working across multiple real estate divisions has taught me how to connect the dots, from portfolio‑level strategy to the day‑to‑day realities of building operations.

NON PROFIT
Alongside corporate work, I've contributed to non-profits and research, mediating between academia, industry, and development institutions to advance sustainable infrastructure and methodologies. I worked on AI & ESG assessment tools using machine learning, advised on research programs and thought leadership, assisted standards implementation, and supported international climate adaptation tenders, turning research into practical impact.
❋
Career Overview
My career spans over 20 years delivering high-impact projects across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), sustainability, and ESG consulting. Most recently, I led the ESG & Sustainability division at CBRE GWS Switzerland (until October 2025), driving energy strategies and audits for commercial and industrial clients while generating a CAPEX pipeline. In 2023, I established ESG services for CBRE A&T Switzerland, delivering green certifications and decarbonisation advisory.
Before real estate, I spent 18 years managing EPC contracts as project and tender manager for civil design and construction on complex infrastructure: highways and Olympic projects (Sintecna), metro stations, railways, and coal power plants (Maire Engineering), CCPP and steam power (Alstom Power), and energy-from-waste plants (Hitachi Zosen Inova). I led value engineering for efficiency, cost reduction, environmental compliance, and green building certifications. I also co-led a standardisation program at Alstom for construction materials in subcontracting, streamlining global processes.
Two decades working cross-functionally across all project phases developed my systems thinking and holistic view of the construction value chain. I understand where to apply influence levers, negotiate across functions, and navigate stakeholders by impact and influence.
The Transition
In 2018, after years of witnessing persistent design and construction inefficiencies, I chose transformation over maintaining the status quo. Driven by concern for resource depletion and planetary degradation, I transitioned to sustainability, seeking to apply my technical expertise toward resource-positive, low-carbon, and circular solutions, while specialising in circularity and regeneration.
My sustainability work began in foundations and program management, supporting the SuRe® Standard for Sustainable Infrastructure with Global Infrastructure Basel (GIB) Foundation and coordinating programs with the Holcim Foundation. I currently support the Integrated Sustainable Development (ISD) Foundation pro bono, on nature-based solutions (NBS) and renewable energy tenders.
Strategic Expertise
Passionate about regenerative design, I connect built environments with climate adaptation, mitigation, and ecosystem restoration. A systems thinker attuned to sustainability trends, regulatory frameworks, and market drivers, I anticipate project lifecycle dynamics, bridge disciplines, and create structural clarity internationally.
Across private industry, consulting, and non-profits, I deliver ESG and sustainability solutions combining technical depth with strategic foresight for measurable impact. Having seen projects fail, I identify where interventions create maximum value chain impact. My expertise spans ESG strategy, due diligence, certifications (including Living Future Accreditation), regeneration and circular economy, refined through cross-functional leadership and lifecycle management.
Currently Open
In 2026, I am open to senior sustainability or ESG roles delivering strategic innovation beyond compliance toward regenerative, resilient, and low-carbon outcomes. Based in Zürich, Switzerland, I welcome opportunities across Switzerland, and eventually selected European and remote engagements.

WORLD CITIZEN
With multiple nationalities and having spent most of my life as an expat in different countries, I've called Switzerland home since 2009. Before that, I lived in Italy, where I graduated with a MSc in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Torino. I grew up and spent 16 years in Brazil.
I worked on international projects and tenders in Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. I'm used to working with multicultural teams and truly treasure these environments for the richness they bring. Diversity really sparks my curiosity. It’s not just enjoyable, it’s a genuine source of different worldviews and therefore stronger outcomes.
I speak English, Italian, Portuguese, German and some Czech. I am currently learning French (B1 Level).
INSPIRATION
As an introspective INFJ, I bring thoughtful analysis and deep reflection to sustainability challenges. My Clifton Strengths shape how I work: Input fuels my curiosity to gather valuable information, Intellection drives deep problem-solving, Restorative energizes me in fixing issues( hence my 15+ years in engineering!), Learner keeps me continuously growing, and Deliberative guides careful risk assessment and planning, a quality I honed over 15+ years as a project manager.
Well-read with a high cultural profile from my global background as well as insatiable curiosity, I embrace learning as constant self-improvement.
Super creative (I channel it through my photography hobby), I thrive outdoors by hiking, finding nature grounding for mind and body. This fuels my passion for built environments that nurture cognitive health, well-being, and ecosystem regeneration: the vital link between my personal and professional worlds.
